ELECTION RESULTS Mary Johnson - 198 Donal MacAdam - 195 David Aiello - 183 Gary Hebdon - 178 Lianne Swanson - 176 Thank you to all the candidates for running such a great campaign, and volunteering to run. The top four (4) candidates have been elected. Many thanks to Ramona Hall and Alene Griffin for joining the Election Committee for the recount. Thank you to the Election Committee (Julianne Feuerhelm, Lorna Leslie, and Angie White) for all their hard work getting the vote out. Thank you to the Poll Workers for giving up their time the day of the election - La Nelle Thomas, Amanda Buchanan, Judy Cannon, Cathi Conti, Devi Klauer, and Alene Griffin. Thank you to Billy Alch for making sure the Election Committee got fed the night of the election. Thank you to all the residents that took the time to cast their vote. The committee came up with a motto this year,"Your Voice, Your Choice". This election shows our community can come together and express their voice by casting a vote for their choice, whether it was sending in an absentee ballot or coming to the polls to vote. I look forward to seeing this participation grow even more next November. Please come out and vote and consider helping as a poll worker, or a committee member - November 2008.
